01Does the case need charging?
No. There is no battery in the case. NFC provides the small amount of power needed when you send a new image, and the e-ink panel holds that image without any ongoing power.
02How do I change the picture?
Choose and crop an image in the companion app, then hold your iPhone near the case while it refreshes. The final app download and privacy information will be published before checkout opens.
03Will it look like my phone screen?
E-ink is deliberately different from an OLED screen. It is reflective, softly textured and works with a limited colour range, so contrast and colour will shift from the original photo. That character is the point.
04Which iPhones are supported?
The Australian launch range is planned for iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
05Where do the specifications come from?
The specification table on this page reflects the manufacturer documentation for the launch hardware. Anything still being verified for the Australian release is marked as such rather than stated as final.
06What are the shipping and returns terms?
Australian shipping, support and return terms are still being finalised. This launch preview cannot take payment until those details and the Shopify checkout are connected.
